Evolutionary Films has produced and distributed over 50 commercial and award-winning films including the global breakout action series I AM VENGEANCE and I AM VENGEANCE RETALIATION, the critically acclaimed Beatles origins documentaries GET BACK and LOOKING FOR LENNON for Sky Arts, and Irvine Welsh’s cult comedy hit THE MAGNIFICENT ELEVEN. In the last two years, the Evolutionary production team have delivered scripted drama series to Sky Studios, Amazon Studios and Channel 4, as well as an independent feature film starring Samuel L. Jackson and Vincent Cassel that has been released theatrically by Lionsgate in North America. Evolutionary is currently in post-production on the six part crime thriller series CURFEW for Paramount+.
Who We Are
The Evolutionary team have over 70 producer credits across a range of titles and include a BAFTA winning producer and a GREAT Britain campaign Ambassador. They have worked with all the major streamers and studios including Netflix, HBO, Universal, Warner Brothers, BBC, Channel 4, Discovery, Nat Geo, Amazon, Paramount and Sky. Evolutionary has been given authority to issue UK Government backed shares on multiple occasions and has regularly received funding from the BFI.
As well as receiving numerous awards and nominations for work on individual film and TV productions, Evolutionary has twice won the Best Film Distributor award at the National Film Awards (2019 and 2021) and was nominated for two awards at the prestigious Screen Awards in 2019 - Best International Sales Deal For A UK Film and Distributor of the Year.
