Tom, an out-of-work artist, reluctantly agrees to assist his estranged father who is working on a memory-transfer technology that would restore Alzheimer's patient's lost memories. Several days after Tom's arrival his father is found dead and video evidence implicates Tom as the killer. With no recollection of the event, Tom sets out to unravel the truth while furthering his father's research.
