Evolutionary Films funded the initial set up of its business infrastructure by raising private equity under the UK Government backed Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS) and inviting shareholders to join the company on its journey. Evolutionary Films has been authorised by UK HMRC on multiple occasions to issue EIS3 certificates to individual investors providing them the ability to permanently write off hundreds of thousands of pounds in income tax and defer a similar amount of capital gains. The company has also used the Seed Enterprise Investment Scheme (SEIS) to establish Evolutionary Film Productions and Evolutionary Film Distribution.

Evolutionary Films continues to attract investment from traditional film industry sources as well as tax efficient private equity under EIS in order to continue to grow the business into a mini-major that is renowned as a quality partner for production, international sales and UK distribution.
